  • What are the collection points for tours?
    The Original Day Tour, Castle on the Hill Tour and Suffolk Villages Day Tour Location: Kings Cross St Pancras London Underground Station Meeting point: Henry Moore Statue ​ The best way to reach this destination if using the underground network, is to follow signs for the British Library Euston Road exit. The statue will be visible from the station or behind the Doddle shop depending on what exit you leave out of. In the case of rain, the meeting point will be out the front of the Doddle Shop. Arrive at Henry Moore Statue at least 15 minutes before departure time and please allow ample time for your journey, as it is not uncommon to have slight delays on the London Underground. The Royale Day Tourand The Heritage Tour Location: Hammersmith Underground Station Meeting Point: The Swan Pub, 46 Hammersmith Broadway, Hammersmith, London W6 0DZ Hammersmith Underground station is on the District and Piccadilly line. There are two separate stations at Hammersmith and the swan pub is easily accessible from both of these. When exiting from overground (Pink and Yellow line) across the road from the exit of the station is The Swan Pub. When exiting the underground station Hammersmith Broadway (Blue and Green lines) there are several exits outside this station, the best one is to walk past Mcdonalds and exit through the main entrance Hammersmith Broadway, exit past the statue and directly across the road is The Swan Pub. We appreciate that the early start means you have to wake up earlier during your holidays, but it is well worth the effort to have a much more enjoyable and relaxed day’s touring. Most accommodation will provide an early morning breakfast option, however in your day excursion we will provide all customers with a free breakfast pack (excludes coffee). London Underground accepts prepaid Oyster cards (£5 for new Cards). If you have a contactless bank card this can be used for an adult rate fare, (overseas transaction fees may apply, not all cards issued outside the UK are accepted).
  • Can I organise my own personalised tour?
    Yes! We have a private hire option. Please contact us and we’ll work together with you to personalise a tour.
  • How many people can I book for?
    City to Coast Day Tours accommodate up to 16 people. This is to ensure we are able to offer the best service for our guests.
  • Day tour essentials and luggage information
    Packing for your tour can be hard. However, our guidelines below have been written to help you decide what you should bring with you. Day Trips : • 1 small backpack/rucksack per person • Water • Camera or mobile to take lots of pictures • Waterproof jacket, this is the UK after all! • Warmer clothing layers, especially for winter time trips • Swimwear and towel for our beach tours in the summertime • Hat, sunglasses and sun lotion • Identification for entry into pubs or restaurants if purchasing alcohol • Spending money in the correct currency or bank card • Remember to wear comfortable shoes Staycations : 1x small carry-on luggage per person If you do have large suitcases/rucksacks to carry or a child's pushchair, please contact our office in advance so that we can confirm luggage space availability. Most of our day trips are conducted in smaller vehicles. These have special luggage compartments for small day bags and some larger bags. If you fail to notify us that you need extra luggage space for suitcases and larger bags before making your reservation, we cannot guarantee that the space will be available when you intend to travel.
