Clicking "Book Now" and "Submitting Payment" by default, you comply to all of our Terms & Conditions, set out in this agreement. Please Read these Carefully.

DISCLAIMER: “Castle on the hill & Suffolk villages tour” is not an official tour and are neither authorised nor endorsed by  “Ed Sheeran or his Family", Friends or Known Associates, any of his team, the producers, or labels Asylum, Atlantic, Elektra (including its holding and associated companies) or broadcasters.

We aim to be the most fun, friendly and flexible tour company! We assure you of an amazing experience! Just email info@citytocoast.co.uk if you have any concerns or issues and we will generally find a solution straight away! We are City To Coast Day Tours Ltd, which has operated amazing day tours out of London to the East Anglian and surrounding Counties since 2018! You can be assured of dealing with a professional Tour Company! We are usually able to swap your date of travel free of charge if you let us know asap! The “Terms and Conditions” below are a legal requirement, and are a protection for you the customer, and of course for “City To Coast Day Tours Ltd”.

(Please read carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations. Once you book your tour, by default you accept these terms and conditions.)

Once ‘City To Coast Day Tours Ltd.’ confirms your booking a contract is made between ‘City To Coast Day Tours Ltd’ and you upon the terms and conditions set out below. ‘City To Coast Day Tours Ltd.’ hereinafter referred to as ‘we’, will only confirm your booking once we have received full payment for your tour.

For the use of our website

​

To book via our website you must be sixteen years or older. Using the website is confirmation that you possess the legal authority to enter into a contract of carriage and accept the terms and conditions of this website, including payments from Debit and Credit Cards in accordance with all its terms and conditions.

 

Our responsibility to you

​

Accuracy of content. We take reasonable care to ensure that the information appearing on this site is accurate and up-to-date. However, errors and omissions do occur, and you should not take the accuracy of the information for granted, but should check directly with us using the contact details provided on this site. We therefore disclaim all liability for your use of the information on this site.

 

Booking Reservations

​

Reserving a tour with City To Coast Day Tours Ltd is really straightforward! 

Get in touch with us as soon as possible (see Contact page), and provide as much of the information below as you can, to ensure that your chosen date is available:-

  • which date(s) you are interested in

  • which tour you wish to visit

  • how many people

Confirm your booking with an email. City To Coast Day Tours Ltd will then send you an invoice via email, or by post if you prefer, showing you the amount due.

Send full payment in full to guarantee the reservation. Payments can be made by credit or debit card (secure payment using PayPal - it's quite simple and you don't even need to have a PayPal account yourself).

Once full payment is made you will be allocated a place/places on the particular tour and a confirmation emailed to you. This is your confirmation of booking. This should be printed and saved for own reference.

Once you begin your tour, you accept and abide by these terms and conditions.

We accept no responsibility for incorrect email or inability to deliver email. If your confirmation does not arrive on time or at all, then you must ask us to resend the email confirmation of the tours you have paid for.

All internet bookings will be confirmed by email.

We reserve the right to sell any places reserved without full payment or a deposit.

It is the responsibility of the passenger to check the accuracy of dates booked upon receipt of their travel documents.

Insurance

​

There is no travel insurance cover included in the price of the ticket. We are fully covered as required by law by the Motor Insurance and Personal/Public Liability Insurance for coach travel. We take no responsibility for any injuries or loss to you incurred whilst you are taking part in any optional activities that are outside our coach travel. We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive insurance cover for cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, personal baggage, money and public liability before you travel. You may not be accepted as a ‘City To Coast Day Tours Ltd’ passenger unless you have arranged satisfactory insurance. We accept no responsibility for the theft, loss or damage to personal belongings from at any time during the duration of your tour. If you choose to swim or enter water at any time on the journey, you will do so at your own risk and City To Coast Day Tours Ltd will not be held responsible for any accident/death incurred.

Cancellation

​

Cancellation of your booking must be in writing by email to day City To Coast Day Tours Ltd. When written notification has been received by City To Coast Day Tours Ltd a fee of £20 pounds will be levied to cover administration costs. And then the percentage of refund, depending on amount of days notice given.

​

You are entitled to a 50% refund only if you give us 28 days or more notice of your intention to cancel.

​

If you choose to cancel within 27-14 days before the start of your tour, 25% refund will be granted.

13 days prior to departure 0% refund will be given.

​

You can choose to change your tour departure to another date (subject to availability). Permission to do this up to 48 hours before departure is subject to a £20 per person admin fee and is entirely at the discretion of the Management.

​

If the reason for your cancellation is covered under your insurance policy, you may be able to make a claim under that policy.

​

In the case if a private group booking or a private bus hire we would require 2 weeks notice of cancellation and a £100 administration fee.

​

Tours already booked can not be cancelled and rebooked where special offers are made available. This applies to all trade shows and any other special offers that may be available.

​

Refunds

​

Any refund which has been agreed with the management of City To Coast Day Tours Ltd can only be refunded by bank transfer, it cannot be carried out using a credit card.

Refunds may only be made to the bank account of the person to be refunded. This cannot be done by credit card and the onus is on the person to be refunded to provide bank account details, IBAN and swift code with email proof on any overcharge.

​

Changes by us

​

We reserve the right to change our typical itineraries at any time and at our discretion. As professionals we will endeavour to avoid this and if this is necessary, we will substitute alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value. The tours may operate in either direction, for operational reasons.

​

We reserve the right to alter our itinerary in the event of happenings outside the control of City To Coast Day Tours Ltd. This includes outbreaks of ‘foot and mouth’ or other contagious diseases, revolution, national or local strikes and/or protests, social disorder, political unrest.

​

We reserve the right to decrease/increase the price of our tours at any time.

​

Travelling

​

You must obey the laws of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the European Union, whilst travelling on our routes. If you do not do so, you may be asked to surrender your ticket, which may be cancelled without any refund. It is our representative who will decide to cancel your travel and their decision will be final.

​

Your appointed Tour Guide may need to make a decision in the interests of safety. It is a condition of bookings that you comply with the authority and decisions of the appointed representative of the company. If you do not comply with the said representative and are not compatible with the general enjoyment and well being of members of the tour, we reserve the right to refuse to allow you to continue the tour. In such a case we will not be liable for any refund, compensation or any additional costs incurred by you. We cannot accept liability for the behaviour of others on your tour nor if any facilities are curtailed as a result of their actions.

It is your responsibility to meet your tour at arranged points. Because of the nature of the service, City To Coast Day Tours Ltd will not be liable if any service leaves or arrives later than its specified time, even if as a result you miss a connecting service. We will endeavour to ensure that departure and arrival times are met.

​

Accident, Loss or Delay

 

City to Coast Day Tours Ltd take no liability for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, or direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to our employees' negligence, in which case our liability is limited (except for death or personal injury) to a maximum of the refund of the tour cost. City To Coast Day Tours Ltd do not own or manage the train, ships, accommodation and restaurants used and we have no liability for loss or damage caused by the proprietors or operators thereof. City To Coast Day Tours Ltd can not guarantee the traffic or road closures due to unforeseen circumstances (vehicle accidents, diversions, incidents, or general traffic) if for any reason you miss connecting transport/links, or other plans disrupted due to the above mentioned, City To Coast Day Tours Ltd will not be held responsible. Please allow ample time for this journey/daytour and to not conflict with any other plans you may have within the day/evening of the tour. 

​

Lost Property

 

If you lose any item of property whilst travelling with City To Coast Day Tours Ltd, please contact us on 07944-408492

​

We will use our reasonable endeavours to find any item of lost property. Please note that, if found, we cannot keep perishable or other items that could cause offence and we cannot be held liable for any loss if we are unable to locate or return any item of lost property.

​

For important or valuable items such as purses, handbags or mobile phones, we will try to arrange for contact to be made with the driver of the bus which you were travelling on at the earliest opportunity.

When you contact us, please ensure you have as much information about the route, time, and direction of travel and where you were sitting on the bus. We may ask for verification of identity before we return valuable lost property items.

​

You may be charged a fee of £5 when the item is returned to you. After a period of one month, items of lost property may be destroyed or donated to local charities. In addition, if you chose to have found property forwarded to you, the cost of postage and packing must be paid to City To Coast in advance. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion to open, examine and/or destroy any items of lost property.

​

Belongings left on the minibus, (Intentionally/Accidentally) you do so at your own risk, and City To Coast Day Tours Ltd, will not be held responsible, whether of loss or damage, while travelling with us, throughout the day.

​

Pick up points

​

You will be sent an email confirmation with Departure Details, and they are also available for each tour at www.CitytoCoast.co.uk. It is your responsibility to meet your tour.

Pick up times are approximate and dependent upon traffic.

​

Your obligations and responsibilities

​

You must inform us in writing of any medical condition that’s requires attention or medication before your tour commences.

​

It is your responsibility to have all necessary visas, passports, permits and certificates required for your selected itinerary as well as any necessary vaccinations and to comply with all applicable laws.

​

During your tour, your tour guide may take photographs and films of you (as part of a group) while you are a passenger and these may be used in our Group brochures and/or advertising and publicity material without obtaining any further consent or payment in respect of such photographs and/or films.

​

When you book with us, you accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid at the time direct to the accommodation owner or manager or other supplier. If you fail to do so, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions.

​

Timings

​

Your guide City to Coast Day Tours Ltd will give you clear instructions as to when you should return to the Minibus/ coach after each visit, please be punctual. City To Coast Day Tours Ltd operate within EU Driving Hours Regulations; therefore we are unable to wait for late returning passengers. If you have a local sim card or mobile we would like to notify you of our prompt departure via WhatsApp. 

​

Complaints

In the highly unlikely event that you may wish to make a formal complaint, please inform the Representative at the time. If the matter cannot be resolved immediately or during your trip after the representative’s best endeavours to do so, your complaint should be made in writing to info@citytocoast.co.uk as soon as is reasonably possible after the trip, but within 30 days thereof so that your complaint can be investigated. We will not consider any complaint after the 30-day period. You will be assured of respect and courtesy whilst your complaint is being dealt with.

Weather Conditions

 

Under no circumstances can we be held responsible for weather conditions. No ticket can be cancelled or amended by you at any time on the basis of weather conditions. We accept no responsibility for weather conditions that may affect the delivery and implementation of our itinerary.

​

Smoking, Food & Drink On Board Coaches

​

Smoking is not permitted on board, but all tours make frequent stops. In the interest of safety we ask that no hot food or hot drinks are carried on board the coach.

We offer a complementary breakfast pack on all our minibus tours, as well as a complementary Fish and Chips lunch on the Original City to Coast Tour (Vegetarian Option Available). Care is taken to ensure that the breakfast pack does not contain Nuts, however due to the nature of how some of the products are displayed/produced they may come in contact with other peanut or tree nut-containing products. City To Coast Day Tours Ltd will not be held responsible for any allergic reactions

The free breakfast pack offer is available on all full day coach tours. There is no cash alternative for the free breakfast pack.

​

Breakfast packs have been provided at no extra cost and will include the following items: one vegetarian/vegan or gluten free continental pastry, one breakfast bar, one bottle of water or fresh juice and one seasonal item of fruit. If for any reason any/all items are unavailable, no refund will be made. Bookings made less than 12 hours before departure will not receive a breakfast pack and no refund will be made. We are unable to take requests as to the contents of the free breakfast pack. You may consume your free breakfast pack on the coach.

​

City To Coast Day Tours Ltd will not be held responsible for any allergic reactions that may occur including of :- 

  • Cereals containing gluten, namely: wheat (such as spelt and Khorasan wheat), rye, barley, oats

  • Crustaceans for example Prawns, Crabs, Lobster, Crayfish

  • Eggs

  • Fish

  • Peanuts

  • Soybeans

  • Milk

  • Nuts/Tree Nuts; namely, Peanuts, Almonds, Hazelnuts, Walnuts, Pine nuts, Cashews, Pecan nuts, Brazil nuts, Chestnuts, Pistachio nuts, Shea Nuts Macadamia (or Queensland) nuts

  • Celery (including celeriac)

  • Fruit/Salads/Vegtables

  • Mustard

  • Sesame 

  • Sulphur dioxide/sulphites, where added and at a level above 10mg/kg in the finished product. This can be used as a preservative in dried fruit 

  • Lupin which includes lupin seeds and flour and can be found in types of bread, pastries and pasta

  • Legumes which include Alfalfa, Clover, Peas, Chickpeas, Lentils, Kidney beans Lupin bean, Mesquite, Carob, Soybeans, Peanuts and Tamarind

  • Molluscs like Clams, Mussels, Whelks, Oysters, Snails and Squid

We do not permit smoking on any of our vehicles.

 

Vehicles

​

We aim to always provide a vehicle as described, but circumstances beyond our control mean we may need to substitute the vehicle at short notice, and we cannot guarantee features such as WC or WIFI, but we endeavour to provide these services as advertised.

We reserve the right to use the coaches of Partner Companies at any time on our tours. We will ensure all coaches meet our high standards, and are fully insured and meet all government regulations.

 

Special Requirements

 

City To Coast Day Tours Ltd we do our best to give all our customers full care and attention, but we do need to know at the time of booking if there are any special needs or requirements. It is particularly important that we are advised of any disabilities and also if you intend to bring any specialist equipment such as a wheelchair with you. If you have a medical condition, please consult your Doctor if you are in doubt about your suitability to travel.

​

At City To Coast Day Tours Ltd our policy is to maintain and improve the current standards of accessibility to our services for people with disabilities or whose mobility is impaired. We take into account the provisions set out in the Equality Act 2010 and whilst we encourage third party venues, and industry partners to adopt such measures we are unable to guarantee their standard of compliance

 

Affiliate Restrictions

 

There is strictly no PPC bidding on the company brand name or any variations or misspellings thereof. Please do not bid on the company name as we will reverse commissions and reject any affiliates found doing so. Affiliates may make use of the company name in the description.

​

City To Coast Day Tours Ltd has an extensive in-house PPC programme. We do not want affiliates to compete with our own campaign or to drive up our costs.

​

The booking conditions detailed herein contain the entire contract between you and City To Coast Day Tours Ltd. No representation, term, warranty or condition can be expressed or implied by reference to any other writing, advertisement or conversation. This contract may only be varied in writing by a duly authorised officer of City To Coast Day Tours Ltd.

​

This contract and all matters arising out of it are governed by British law. We both agree that any dispute, claim or other matter which arises out of or relating to this contract or your travel will be dealt with by the Courts of Britain only. Changes to these Booking Conditions will only be valid if agreed by City To Coast Day Tours Ltd in writing.

​

Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of our brochures and other printed material at time of going to print, however we cannot be held responsible for printing and typographical errors, or errors arising from unforeseen circumstances.

​

Customer Service/ Feedback

 

We are committed to providing you with a top class service to ensure you have a safe, stress and trouble free journey, but if for any reason you are unhappy with the service you’ve received we do apologies and would like to hear from you to investigate where we went wrong, we are always looking to improve our service and would love your feedback. If you have a complaint please email us info@citytocoast.co.uk including your ref, name, travel date and journey details, every customer is valuable to us, we will respond no later than 3 working days and that’s a promise. We take praise as well so feel free to compliment us.

PRIVACY & SECURITY

​

Please note that City To Coast Day Tours Ltd calls may be monitored and recorded for training and quality-assurance purposes.

​

City To Coast Day Tours Ltd are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018). The information collected from customers when signing up is used for billing and administration purposes only and will be kept confidential. Contact information collected will be contact details and payment information (credit or debit card). None of which will be passed onto third parties. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal

security policy and the law. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European

Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first. We may use technology to track the

patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a “cookie” which would

be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening.

The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your

browser settings. If you have any questions/comments about privacy, you should email us at

When visitors use the website, information such as the ISP’s domain, the time accessed, and the pages visited will be stored by us. This is to analyse the web traffic and improve content of the site.

From time to time we may send you promotional & discount emails. You will be given the option

to unsubscribe from receiving these emails. We will not send you third party emails or give your

details to third parties.
